GOING TO LARGA DURACION

WHAT IS THE LARGA DURACION?

After living in Spain legally for 5 years continously you will be able to access larga duracion (long duration card)

Larga duracion is the "permanente permit" that allows you to be in Spain forever even if you are not working.

It's a card that needs to be renewed every 5 years and the renewal is much simpler and faster.

It's also a card that for sometimes is a requirement, for example if you want to petition your parents they will require that you have larga duracion.

WHEN DO I QUALIFY?

You have been in Spain for 5 years continously
Your have children and you are larga duración, they will also be larga duración.
You recover your lost larga duración permit
You come with a larga duración from another UE country

WHEN DO I NEED TO RENEW MY PERMIT AND TO ENTER IN LARGA DURACION?

The process starts 60 days before your card expire and can be done up to 90 days after expiration however we recommend to start the process 60 days before expiration to be safe.

WHAT IS THE MAIN REQUIREMENT TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE LARGA DURACION?

The main requirements to be able to access larga duración is that you have been living in Spain for the past 5 years continuously without many months outside of Spain

DO I NEED A CONTRACT TO ACCESS LARGA DURACIÓN?

No. As a general rule, it is not one of the requirements to access larga duración.

Name of your parents
Marital status of you

HOW LONG TAKES THE RENEWAL?

Depending on the province that you are living. In some provinces is taking 2-3 months in some longer.

WHAT HAPPENDS IF MY CARD EXPIRES AND THERE IS NOT RESULT. CAN I WORK?

Nothing happends. The important thing that you present your renewal maximum after 90 days of expiration.

Once your renewal is presented your permit will be extended until there is a result and you will be able to continue working legally with no issues.

TAXES

The process incudes 2 taxes of around 50€ in total.

PRICE

Our price policy is that you do not pay anything when we start the renewal and we present your documents and your payment comes once we call you and we give you the good news that is already favorable (approved).

We are sure it will be approved so we do not mind waiting for the aproval!

Our fee varies depending on the province that so you can contact us and we will inform you but generally is around 200€.
