Chidren born in Spain are entitled to apply for residence permit right away!​

 

Requirements

 

The child needs to have already passport

One the parents need to have already legal residence in Spain

Documents required

 

• Full passport of the child (all pages)

• Full passport of the parents (all pages)

• NIE of the parents

• Birth certificate (less than 3 months old)

• Padron actual.

​If the parents don't have papers can the child get papers?

Unfortunatelly no. First the parents need to have residence permit (at least one) and then the children.

​If the child gets papers can the parents get papers?

Yes but not right away. First the child need to get residence, then apply for spanish nationality and after is aproved the parents can obtain working permit.

When can the child can apply for spanish nationality?

After one year of living in Spain legally (having NIE)
